Our ability as leaders and influencers to anticipate, navigate, and communicate our needs through change can impact the people around us and the work we’re doing. And frankly, most of us would rather do none of those things! Which is why change can be one of the most disruptive forces at work today! But equipped with just a handful of practical tools, we can build our change muscles so that change feels less disruptive when it happens.
Making change just part of our routine involves having:
- a mental model of what change looks like
- a simple framework to identify when change is ahead, and how big the mountains ahead will be
- a go-to set of messages to move yourself along the way from here to where we’re going
- tools that work for bouncing back from setbacks, discouragement, or “dark days”
Sound complex? It’s not. This interactive session delivers meaningful content in an engaging and approachable way, using stories that feel familiar and examples that resonate. Offered as a high-energy workshop, this class supports leaders in building awareness, confidence, and momentum as they navigate change and move work forward together.
This session includes best practices in Change management, Emotional intelligence, and Project management, from 18 years of research and practical application, brought together in a way that includes that ability to:
1) identify and vet the right idea
2) engage the right people in the right way to identify goals, roles, tasks, & risks
3) move people forward in a meaningful way from where they are today to where we want them to be with minimal drama, active engagement, and maximum participation, all the way through to completion!
