Transitioning Well: Best Practices for Churches, Pastors, and Ministry Leaders

$100.00

November 12th, from 8:00am to 4:00pm CST

Virtual, over Zoom

– $100 per church

Things are changing whether we want them to or not. Pastors and priests retire or transition to new assignments. New buildings are built. New programs are offered. Some programs are sunset. Services are added, blended, removed. More powerfully in the past few months, virtual church has become a thing.

Church has always been about more than a building: church is about the people. And change is mostly hard for people. As Christ-followers ourselves who have been leading and coaching others through marketplace changes for years, we at Your Clear Next Step are thrilled to offer churches a set of tools and resources to help you navigate these transitions well.

For Pastors and Priests, Ministry Leaders and Staff, Volunteers and Congregation members – transition can be better if we approach it with proven best practices. Key concepts that matter during transitions include

  • – planning
  • – vision alignment
  • – communication
  • – consistent leadership
  • – follow-through
  • – ongoing support
  • – and an eyes-wide-open approach to change and how it impacts people.

We’ve assembled a team to help you! Our one-of-a-kind virtual workshop is available to you right now, on November 12th, with tools you can put to practical use right away! Join us for this full-day, interactive workshop.

Transitioning Well: Best Practices for Churches, Pastors, and Ministry Leaders agenda:

From 8:00-10:00 we’ll introduce our team, gather your top-of mind questions, and change expert Sinikka Waugh will share a simple, easy-to-share model of what change really looks and feels like from an individual’s perspective, setting the stage for transitioning together successfully.

From 10:00-12:00, we’re focusing specifically on pastors, though everyone is welcome! Hear from expert Tom Green as he shares four focus areas of Learning, Connecting, Communicating, and Unifying, including helping you understand what matters and actionable things you can do to make the transition a success.

From 12:15-2:00, we’re focusing specifically on church leaders and staff – paid and volunteer. Hear from expert Joel Smith as he helps you help your team by getting un-stuck, engaging with transitional tools, and an easy-to-apply coaching model.

From 2:00-4:00, we’ll start wrapping up by looking back at the journey of transition with Sinikka Waugh, plugging in the things you can do to help yourself and your congregation thrive during this transition, and making sure we’ve addressed all your questions and concerns. We’ll also share the ways we can continue to support you during this transition, through one-on-one and small group coaching, congregational training, and a set of transition tools designed specifically for pastors and church leaders.

This virtual workshop is available right now for an introductory offer of just $100. For that single $100 registration per church, any members of your church leadership, staff, or congregation can join us for this one-day workshop.
